We need you!
We are gearing up to open our doors in the next few months. In order to be ready to serve our first families, we have some specific and urgent volunteer needs. Please see the information below and contact us ASAP if you would like to join our team!
Some specific positions that are currently open include:
Family Support
Before we can serve families, we need to have teams in place to support them. We currently have needs in several key areas:
- Friendship mentoring
- Life skills instruction
- Childcare
- Transportation
- Prayer chain
Board Members
Join our board of directors. Executive members should be passionate about the Candeo vision and willing to commit 10-15 hours per month for a minimum of one year.
Construction Volunteers
Our upper two suites are almost ready to go but we still have a lot of renovating left to do in the lower two suites.
Specific volunteer needs:
- Experienced person to manage/oversee construction
- Skilled tradespeople in: framing, heating, plumbing, electrical, roofing, drywall, taping, painting, finishing carpentry, cabinetry, flooring
- Volunteers to lend a hand
We also need all supplies necessary for development of a suite as well as a dumpster or dumptruck for removal of materials. Contact us if you have leftover supplies from a recent renovation or if you know a company who might be willing to donate.
Some other areas we need assistance with include:
- Fundraising
- Community Relations
- Chartered Acccountant
